Video

I realize it is the humour section but perhaps in light of all the tragic train derailments recently, providing this video maybe wasn't the best choice. Waiting a while or simply not using it might have been better. Reminds me of when Discovery planned to bring a special week of following building deconstruction companies who implode buildings. They quickly changed their plans after 9-11 happened and delayed airing it until much later. Marc

Good Grief!

I think the article and accompanying video were well produced and FUNNY. Yup, I chuckled a bit, thank you for providing this bit of levity for us MRH!

I for one have no intentions of rolling up into a ball and wimpering all day because tragic events happen. This mentality that the world is supposed to stop and everyone must mourn and never ever mention such events ever again every time there is a train / car / plane / etc. crash is ridiculous. Trains crash. Cars crash. Planes crash. People die tragically all day every day. Get used to it, because this is not likely to change, and I see no reason why we can no longer have humor because of this fact. Hundreds of people a year die of bee stings and allergic reactions to peanut butter, can people no longer make a joke involving bees or peanut butter too !?!?

Is this joke "politically correct" enough???

Two fonts stroll into a saloon and saddle up to the bar. Arial says " I'll have a draft beer" and Quentin says "Bourbon for me barkeep". Bartender says "Haven't I told you two ta get lost ?! We don't serve your type in here!!!"

Oh my! That is so insensitive, do you have any idea how many people are tragically killed by Demon Alcohol each year !?!?!

Cmon now......

Not opposed to humour

I'm not opposed to humour, humour is good and as said can make us forget the tragedies of life. This video however instantly reminded me of those derailments and deaths and its the timing of directing our attention to it which is what I object to. I of course had the option of stopping the video which I instantly did. Marc
