Great article Antonio. After

Great article Antonio. After looking on their web site I'm thinking that the chrome paint wood be good for bumpers etc on model vehicles for the layout.

Gloss coat

I do the same method with Alclad chrome. I do find the gloss coat sometimes turns the finish darker than I like.. It is a great way to get stainless steel look for some older models, and new road names. I use the green bulletproof glass coating for my dome cars, looks great. Thomas G.

Refurbish a Walthers Pullman Coach w/Alclad 2

Hi guys,

Thank you very much. I also wish to say "Thank you" to MRH for considering and posting this article.  Randy, you're right in that Alclad's Chrome (#107) would a good fit for bumpers.

Alclad2 has been working on the new gloss gray basecoats which will make passenger car refinishing a much faster process.  You won't have to wait several days or a week for the basecoat to cure (like Scale Coat 2).  After applying the new basecoats, you can follow with Alclad2 metalizer after a 20 to 30 minute wait.

Thank you.

I'll be glad to help any modelers with questions on metalizing. Imho, it's enjoyable.

Difference between gray and black

Great article!! Thanks for writing it.

I noticed users on YouTube using gloss back for the basecoat. Can you tell me the difference between using gray or black?

Thanks.
