Do Not Recommend 1156 Light Bulbs

In todays worlds the use of 1156 bulbs that do not provide 100 percent short protection are not good for the electronic sound systems in use now. Get circuit breakers there are many very good ones.

If you re-read the article you will see that the 1156 lamps are only used during the trouble shooting phase of the testing. They are switched out during normal operation. Circuit breakers will not limit the track current to a safe but measurable value. They interrupt it completely which prevents you from using the current meter to pinpoint the actual problem.
