The plywood

I have been hopelessly outclassed! I happened to buy 6 sheets of 3/4 birch plywood sanded both sides for finish cabinetry in our guest bedroom  along with some 1/4 inch for the backing board and it's really pricey! I think if I suggested it would make good sub roadbed my days in the basement would numbered by the chief bean counter

. Very nice work! Drill and Blast is always really scary for me. I have to cove around four concrete pillars which hold up four fireplaces in the living room above and you've given me some good ideas.   I did by the way buy the vibrating saw from Harbor freight. It only arrived on the 2nd of January and  it was ordered in early dec so maybe your article caused a run on cheap tools, who  knows? I have yet to try it out, my static grass maker having  far more immediate gratification appeal.
