Great article

Another great article from one of the most prolific authors in the hobby. It's the little details like this that can really make the difference on a layout. And as someone with experience in wireless communications and towers from my vocation, I appreciate the research behind the frequencies and the equipment. Nice job, Matt!

Antennas

Great article indeed. One small point, "Yagi" is a proper name, of the man who is credited with first designing the antenna type. 73 de kd5urs. http://www.vermande.us/train/trnhome.html

Excellent detail to add

This is a great idea, if you can find the critical piece. I remember seeing the towers in the hobby shops and department stores in my younger days. If you find any, grab some spares for a friend. Unfortunately for me, I haven't seen these towers in a long time and I model a different scale. I love the idea, though.

Tom.

That was a great article on a little modeled detail that should be included on the layout. Just take a look around in the real world they are everywhere.    Kevin
