Bluford Shops

Bluford Shops (www.bluford-shops.com) has announced five new road names for its N scale 70-ton 3-bay hoppers in two different body styles. Cars decorated for TNO, Lackawanna and CP Rail have offset sides. Pittsburgh & Lake Erie and Florida East Coast cars have 14 panel sides.

Brass Car Sides

New HO scale releases from Brass Car Sides (www.brasscarsides.com) include Union Pacific 1937 era Challenger 5200-5211, C&NW 6160-6166 and Milwaukee Road Falls series 5770-5775 Touralux-coach for 1947-51 Olympian Hiawatha.

B&O Historical Society

The B&O Railroad Historical Society is selling an HO scale 40-foot PS-1 boxcar with a 6-foot door decorated in an authentic 1940s B&O paint scheme. The limited edition car is being produced by Kadee and according to the project team at the Society, a model with this particular scheme has never been available from any major vendor.

Con-Cor

Con-Cor International (www.con-cor.com) says it will have its HO scale 54-foot pulpwood flat cars available for release early next year. The ready-to-run cars come with a simulated load and will be decorated for Southern, Trailer Train, BNSF (black), BNSF (oxide red), Norfolk Southern, Canadian National and Canadian Pacific.

Digital Fox

Digital Fox (www.digitalfox.com) has released a new HO scale 40-foot double-sheath wood boxcar decorated for Denver & Rio Grande Western. It is available in six road numbers and comes with mineral red Andrews-type trucks.
