Guys,

Here are T1 sample images from our clean air room bases.  MK 5000 or MK 5001.

The MK 5000 will work with the GP35, GP38, GP39, GP40, GP38-2, GP39-2, GP40-2, GP50 and GP15-1.

The MK 5001 does the SD38, SD39, SD40, SD45, SD38-2, SD40-2, and SD45-2.

How this system works is you take the correct base and add our clean air room sides which are multi-layer photo-etched which will give you the match for your prototypes weld lines and drain holes.

The reason this product is needed is due to the innacurate dimensions of the current locomotive models and they fact that they don't always match the detail of the unit you're trying to copy.  The product will mate with our cabs and will be a part of our modular locomotive kits.

Our stanchions are in quality control, the clean air rooms will be finished after we release the stanchions.  We're using all sales on these items to fund matching hoods for the GP38-2/SD38-2 and GP40/GP40-2 and SD40/SD40-2.

Thanks.

Guys,Here are the images -

Guys,

Here are the images - will explain and post more as time goes.

The group below show the GP (MK 5000) Clean Air Room base with the Wide Cab.  The base is modular.  It will be covered with multi-layer photo-etched sides and roof components to form the surface unique to your unit.  The raised sections are going to protrude through the surface of the metal so you get plastic to plastic bonds between add on components and the kit.

The GP kit includes the rear which is seen, and three plugs that mate to the rear of the cab and form a base for interior.  The plugs cover the GP35 - 40 series, GP15-1, GP38-2 - GP50, and the late phase GP39-2.

The image below shows the dash 2 set up for the GP (MK 5000) kit with the non dash 2 plug beside it.

This plug setup enables you to do the late phases of GP39-2 such as the ATSF.  Why is nobody paying attention to this, I thought this is what "modelers" wanted?

This is what you get with MK 5000 except for one extra rear plug is shown here.

This last image shows both the SD variations (MK 5001).  The longer is the dash two variation.

Thanks, all of your support is greatly appreciated!

I think you are premature in asking why is no one paying

attention.  I was on this site yesterday morning and this thread was not here.  I started browsing today and find it and the second or third post asks why no one is paying attention.  I think you need to wait at least 48 hours after posting before jumping to conclusions, and probably longer.  I usually check in for an hour or two in the morning with my morning coffee before shutting off the computer and going about my business for the day.  I may or may not come back in the evening depending on what I'm doing. My bad, I noticed that it was posted November 9.  I don't know how I missed it.  Sometimes there is so much traffic that a new post moves to the second or third page in a day or two.  I usually presume that I have already seen all of the posts of interest that are on the second page or beyond, so I don't go past the first page.  You might want to check back after 24 hours and give your post a "bump" to bring it back to the front page of the "recent posts page."

Confusion...

Russ, I don't think he was referring to the thread when he said no one is paying attention he was referring to the plug setup...

Ok, I guess I mis-understood.

If I was modeling a more modern era, I would really be interested in this product.  Except for the Cf7 on LAJ, my modeling interest is in the 1950's.  I usually look at any new products to see if it is something that would interest me, or something to tell other model railroaders about.  I don't know why this thread went by without me even seeing it.
