Motel

Looks pretty good.

The house belongs to Kate? Could be an early version of a B&B. Nice job on both.

Hope he brought some quarters.....

For the vibrating bed.

Me, I'll pass this joint by and take the road north or northwest to something newer....

Universal Studios Tour

Years ago (late 70s) the set of the Bates Motel and house (or a recreation of them) was on the Universal Studios tram tour in Hollywood, before it became a theme park.

Like tours everywhere, such as Disney's Jungle Cruise, puns and in-jokes were part of the spiel - for instance, the path up to the Bates' house was known as the "Psycho-path."

Which made no sense to 10-year old, non-horror movie watching me... but everyone else got a laugh out of it.
