Guys,

The Batch #1 paint is done, will ship from our supplier this week.  Shipments to you will start when we get the bottles filled and packaged.

Our supplier has really taken an artistic approach on this.  We combined the RAL/Pantone match with images to get a real match as the color swaps for the paint do not always look right.

The paint is a non-toxic Acrylic Resin which is highly pigmented and concentrated.  You can use distilled water for thinning.

Your support on this is appreciated.

Thanks,

Christopher Howard

Why?

I am just curious, is there a need for a new line of model paints?  What makes it better or different that what is on the market already?

I know that sounds like I'm being a jerk, but I am really curious.  I would love to know more, and to learn that there is something that model paints can do better.

If any of you have used the

If any of you have used the Vallejo line of paints, this is a similar product.  This medium is great for fine scale work as it is like an enamel in working qualities but has the ease of use of a water based product.

In Canada due to regulations on paint, you cannot import most of the existing products, our paint is non-toxic, comes in child proof tops and is mixed by an artisan who really puts a lot of effort into getting the colors right.  I am personally not thrilled with a lot of the color matches seen in existing product lines so his efforts are giving great results.  You can use distilled water to thin our paint.  It is a concentrate to you get more bang for the buck as its not thinned as other media.

So if you like great quality and good color matches, this is a much needed product.

Paint Take #2

Guys,

The second batch of paint is now in production:

2011-0007 Machine Grey - Used in the engine room and on internal machinery.

2011-0008 Interior Beige - Used in the cab and inside the hood of some locomotives.

2011-0009 Interior Brown - Used in the cab of some locomotives.

2011-0010 Interior Green/Grey - Used in the cab of some locomotives.

2011-0014 Red Oxide Primer - Red oxide primer color, great for worn out CN locomotives.

2011-0020 CN Red #10 - Red/Orange used on CN locomotives.

2011-0021 CN Grey #17 - Light Grey/White used for CN locomotive stencils up to 1995.  After this date use 2011-0001 White.

2011-0022 CR Blue - Conrail blue.

2011-0024 BN Green - Burlington Northern green.

This paint is an acrylic resin concentrate.  Use thin light coats.  The paint is highly pigmented and will be very thin if used properly.  Thin with distilled water.  Use on a primer.

The product is non-toxic, contains no thinners or irritants, and has a child proof cap.

MSRP: $5.25
