ALPINE RAILROAD IN NJ-EVOLUTION IN PICS PART III

Due to the nature of my job I was unexpectedly out of work from last Christmas until te beginning of May which presented a wonderful opportunity to fill the cold winter days by working on my layout uninterrupted. In that time I feel like I achieved quite a lot on the layout construction itself as well as building structures and whatnot. Like most railroad modelers, I tend to get "on a track" of maybe wiring for a while then when I get bored I shift gears and build a structure or two or maybe work on scenery.

MRH Magazine ad for ESU Loksound Full Throttle Steam--huh?

OK, I give up.  After some months of ESU Loksound advertisements in MRH pointing to information on Full Throttle Steam I'm beginning to wonder what's up (or not).  The link doesn't actually take you to a point where you can see what's available in steam (you have to cruise the site to find anything) and then all I find are 3 locos (none of which apply to my collection) which support Full Throttle.  Not sure why the ad stresses so soon something that isn't yet apparently a major player.

Advertiser fail - Accu-Lites - UPDATE: Success!

I've reached out to Accu-Lites on two of their products advertised in MRH. No response at all over a 2 month period. Anyone else had any luck talking to them?

Their contact info is here:

Vendor review/experience

Hello all,

TCS decoders

I just spoke with TCS support and got an immediate resolution to a question I could not find in their documentation.  I use their WOW steam systems and nave been extremely satisfied, so suggested they work a little more with MRH to produce videos like we see with ESU.  I keep finding new features on my decoders by accident, and could benefit from (and perhaps many could) run-throughs of the many features of their decoders.

Loksound Select for Steam? Where?

The current issue of MRH has an ad from Loksound stating that Full Throttle is available for steam now but the link from the magazine led me to a spot that only talked about diesel; am I missing something?

The geniuses at Fast Tracks have done it again!

We are so exited about this new product line that we are going to release it a day ahead of schedule!

Mountain Subdivision Hobbies - modelrrsupply.com

This is an advertiser on MRH that I have made purchases from in the past.(modelrrsupply.com) Recently the post office lost a package and really were clueless. I had been in touch with Bryan about the missing package and had said he would make sure I got what I ordered. During our conversation he mentioned he wasn't sure anyone else had seen his ad on MRH.

Berrett Hills are da bomb

About September last year I got to the point of needing some turnout control panels and I was keen to give the Berrett Hills (MRH sponsor) Touch Toggles a try.

As I wanted to use the toggles in conjunction with some Tam Valley decoders, I checked the BH website to see if that would work.  I then sent an email to the owner (Kevin Hunter) to confirm that I actually needed Touch Triggers.
